Completely plug and play Hero 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 LED status light telling you that your camera is on and recording after you push the wired control button.
 
This plugs into the small hdmi or USB C plug on the side of the camera. 
 
If ordering for Hero 9,10,11,12,13 this comes with a new side door for your camera to allow the kit to plug in.
 
When the camera is off, the LED is off. Push the wired control button and your camera turns on and starts recording. The LED illuminates. Push the wired control button again and your camera stops recording and turns off, and so does the LED.
