Wired Remote builds onboard camera systems for rally and race cars. Press one button on your dash: the GoPro powers on, starts recording, and an LED confirms it. The camera runs from the car's 12V, so there are no batteries to charge and no missed stages or sessions.

Why a dedicated onboard camera system?
A GoPro on its own isn't built for a competition car. Strapped into a harness you can't reach it. Batteries go flat mid-event. The microphone can't hear your co-driver. And you only find out after the stage that it never started recording. Our systems fix each of those:
One-button recording: a wired button within reach, so the camera is on and recording before the start line.
LED recording light: you can see it's recording without looking away from the road.
Hardwired 12V power: runs from the car all day, with no charging between stages or sessions.
Intercom audio: pace notes and in-car calls recorded straight into the footage, from Stilo, Peltor, Zero Noise and Terratrip intercoms.
Pre-configured settings: set up for rally and race cabins, so the windscreen view doesn't wash out.
Solid mounting: roll cage mounts built for the vibration of a competition car.
Built by people who use them
Wired Remote is run by Tom Barley, who has been building motorsport camera systems since 2015. When you message us you talk to the person who built your kit. In the UK, Tom can also come to your car and install a complete system for you.
Common questions
Do I need to modify my GoPro? No. Our complete kits come with the camera ready to fit, and Plug & Play Wired Control works with your GoPro unmodified. Only our fitting service (Add Wired Control To Your Camera) makes a permanent change, and we do that for you.
Which camera should I choose: HD or 4K? HD kits are proven, reliable and great value. 4K kits give sharper detail. Both are pre-configured for motorsport.
Will it work with my intercom? Our intercom cables work with Stilo, Peltor, Zero Noise, Terratrip and other leading rally intercoms. Not sure? Message Tom before ordering.
